Applications to the Málaga Opera Academy are open to young singers and musicians of all nationalities. Candidates are invited to apply for one of the available artistic roles by completing the online application form.

Applicants must submit the application form, including the required audiovideo materials according to the selected role.

Incomplete applications may not be considered.

Selection Process

All submissions will be reviewed by the Academy’s artistic team. Successful candidates will receive an offer of participation by email. Applicants who receive an offer are required to confirm their participation within 10 days of receiving the offer and complete the payment of the participation fee in order to secure their place.

Failure to confirm within this timeframe may result in the offer being withdrawn.

Payment

The participation fee varies depending on the role. Payment can be made in one or two instalments:
60% of the fee upon acceptance of the offer
40% of the fee no later than two weeks before the start of the programme

Please note that full reimbursement of the fee will only be possible within 10 days from receiving the initial offer. After that, no reimbursement shall be made.
