Niccolò Fantini
Founder & Artistic Director
Conductor, violinist and composer whose work spans orchestral performance, opera, and ensemble leadership. He has collaborated with institutions such as the Wiener Festspiele, King’s Opera Society, and the Brussels Chamber Ensemble, and is co-founder and conductor of the Brussels-based Crescendo Collective.
Trained in violin, conducting, and composition, he has refined his craft through international masterclasses and ongoing mentorship under Maestro Miguel Romea. Alongside his artistic work, Niccolò brings experience in cultural communication and project leadership from his roles at the European Commission and in the cultural sector.

Marco Dal Carobbo
Founder & Music Director
Marco Dal Carobbo is an Italian conductor, chorus master and opera répétiteur active internationally, with extensive operatic experience. He trained at the Conservatorio “C. Pollini” in Padua (Piano Performance and Collaborative Piano) and pursued advanced conducting studies at the Imola International Academy with Marco Boni, at Ariadimusica in Rome with Donato Renzetti, and with Daniele Agiman at the Accademia di Alto Perfezionamento de I Musici di Parma.
He has held posts at major institutions including Teatro Verdi di Trieste, the Vienna Opera Festival, and the Musikverein in Vienna, and has collaborated with the Festival Pucciniano (Torre del Lago) and the Accademia Filarmonica di Verona (Fondazione Arena di Verona). He has worked alongside conductors such as Michele Gamba, Toby Purser, Alessandro Pagliazzi, and Giulio Prandi. In 2025, he conducted the world premiere of Antonio Guglielmi’s operetta Androklus e il Leone.
Through the Málaga Opera Academy, he aims to create an inspiring environment where young artists can develop their musical and theatrical potential.

Asia Bonuccelli
Assistant Artistic Director & Korrepetitor
Asia is currently completing a Master’s in Orchestral Conducting, with a second study in Collaborative Piano, at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama under David Jones and Michael Pollock. She previously earned a Bachelor’s degree and Postgraduate Diploma in Piano from Royal Holloway, University of London.
She has served as assistant conductor and repetiteur at the David Seligman Opera Studio, including on Don Giovanni, and has worked as repetiteur for Turandot with the London Performing Academy of Music, as well as La Traviata and The Magic Flute with the Vienna and Berlin Opera Academies. Her collaborations include conductors Toby Purser, Carlos Spieres, James Southall, and Cristian Cimei.

Miguel Romea Chicote
Conductor
Spanish orchestral conductor with over three decades of professional experience, having led nearly all major Spanish symphony orchestras as well as numerous international ensembles across Europe, the Americas, and Asia. A freelance conductor since 1995 and Principal Conductor of the Orquesta Sinfónica Verum since 2009, he combines an active international career with a strong commitment to education.
He is the founder of the Miguel Romea Orchestral Conducting Institute and regularly teaches at leading higher music institutions, including ELCAMM in Málaga, mentoring the next generation of conductors.

Barbara Frittoli
Soprano
Internationally renowned Italian soprano who rose to prominence in the 1990s and is regarded as one of the leading lirico-spinto sopranos of her generation. A graduate with honors from the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory in Milan, she has performed at the world’s major opera houses, including La Scala, the Metropolitan Opera, the Vienna State Opera, the Royal Opera House Covent Garden, and the Opéra Bastille.
Her extensive repertoire spans Mozart, Verdi, Puccini, and bel canto roles, and she has collaborated with some of the most distinguished conductors of our time.

Silvia Gasperini
Korrepetitor and Conductor
Italian pianist, harpsichordist, and conductor, trained with top honors and specialized as a collaborative pianist and opera coach. She has worked extensively in leading Italian opera houses, including Arena di Verona, Teatro Comunale di Bologna, Teatro Carlo Felice di Genova, and has held key roles at the Puccini Festival Foundation, where she is currently Music Director on stage.
Highly regarded as an accompanist, she has collaborated with major international singers and is also active as a conductor and educator, with a strong focus on Puccini repertoire.

Salvatore Sito
Stage Director
Born in Naples, trained in both singing and stage directing, refining his studies at the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia and graduating in Musical Theatre Directing at the Teatro Coccia in Novara. After beginning his career as a singer, he established himself from 2009 onwards as a stage director and playwright, signing over 50 productions across opera, musical theatre, and spoken drama, as well as numerous original texts.
Winner of national and international awards for both directing and libretto writing, he collaborates with major institutions and composers, creating successful productions presented in leading Italian theatres. His artistic profile combines directing, writing, and artistic leadership, with new operatic and musical projects touring through 2026.

Begoña Gómez
Singing Coach
Spanish mezzo-soprano from Mallorca, trained at the Escuela Superior de Canto in Madrid, with further specialization in Spanish music and opera at the Real Conservatorio Superior de Música de Madrid and the Universität der Künste Berlin. A prizewinner at major international competitions and a former recipient of the Richard Wagner Foundation Scholarship, she has performed a wide range of repertoire in leading venues such as the Teatro de la Zarzuela, Komische Oper Berlin, Teatro Cervantes de Málaga, and Teatre Principal de Palma.
She has collaborated with renowned conductors and stage directors across Europe and is particularly noted for her versatility across operatic styles and periods.

Elena Barrios
Conducting Coach
Elena Barrios is a Spanish conductor active between Spain and the Netherlands. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Orchestral Conducting from Conservatorium Maastricht and previously trained as a classical flautist in The Hague and Málaga. She has further developed her conducting skills through masterclasses with leading European maestros.
She has served as Principal Conductor of the Málaga Youth Orchestra and the Maastricht Kamerorkest, and has worked as assistant and guest conductor with various youth and student orchestras. Awarded Second Prize at the Almería International Conducting Competition, she is considered one of the promising young conductors of her generation.

Clara Huguet
Yoga Coach
Originally from Spain and certified in Yin and Restorative Yoga, she discovered yoga at the age of fifteen as a space where she could simply be herself, free from judgment—a feeling that continues to guide her practice and teaching today. Since then, she has maintained a consistent personal practice across different styles, including Hatha, Vinyasa, and Bikram. Her classes aim to create a space where students can listen inwardly, move with awareness, and embrace the present feeling.
A devoted practitioner of pranayama and breathwork, she also brings her love of breath into another passion: music. An enthusiast of Spanish folklore, she is the co-founder of Crescendo Collective and cannot imagine life without singing. Professionally, her background is diverse, including experience in European institutions and several chapters of life in Austria, France, and Belgium.
